We are a retired high school English teacher and a retired rehabilitation counselor. We love exercise, biking, gardening, swimming, and movies. We have a small Maltese-poodle mix dog named Phoebe. She does not shed and is hypoallergenic. We have two rooms available, and have hosted international students for over 20 years. We have two sons and four grandchildren that live locally. One son is a police detective and one is a professional musician and producer. Our oldest son lives in Minnesota and has twins - a boy and a girl. We have the local families over often and enjoy spending time with the San Diego grandchildren (12,16, 2, and 6 months). I am an author and published my first book, Things My Mama Never Told Me, in 2021. I am writing a second book now. We are only accepting girl students at this time between the ages of 18 and 25.
